Actor Biography
Actor and entrepreneur Elijah M. Cooper returns to the hit ABC action drama "9-1-1" as Harry, the son of Angela Bassett's Athena Grant. He can soon be seen in the coming-of-age comedy movie "Almost Popular" in select theaters Aug. 28. Cooper also stars in "Goosebumps: The Vanishing," the newest installment from the "Goosebumps" anthology universe on Disney+ and Hulu. Earlier this year, he debuted as the newest cast member in The CW's "All American," playing quarterback and homecoming king Yasi. Known for his role as Cobo on Nickelodeon's "That Girl Lay Lay," Cooper is building a promising on-screen presence. Additional credits include "The Rookie," "Chicago P.D.," "Evil," "Dad," "Sydney to the Max," "Line of Duty," "A Million Eyes," "Torn" and "Murder Chose Me."
A SpelHouse legacy and a man of Morehouse College currently studying business, Cooper is also committed to success beyond the screen. As an entrepreneur, he co-founded Tints Streetwear and has found passion in working toward providing support for fading art forms and expanding access to the game of golf for Black children. As a passionate supporter of nonprofit Girl Well, Inc., he helps the organization provide wellness for underserved and under-sheltered teenage girls.
