ABC Audio and "20/20" announced that the new podcast "Vanished: What Happened to Vanessa," hosted by ABC News correspondent John Quiñones, will premiere on Sept. 16. The limited series focuses on the 2020 murder of U.S. Army soldier Vanessa Guillén. The show is a part of ABC Audio's true crime portfolio, which features several titles that have topped the charts and made best-of lists for Spotify and Apple.

In "Vanished: What Happened to Vanessa," Quiñones takes listeners back to the murder of then Private First Class Guillén at the Fort Hood Army base in Texas. After Guillén goes missing, her family pressures the military for answers. The search for their beloved sister and daughter ignites a movement and sparks a reckoning in the military. The series will feature exclusive, never-before-heard interview audio from ABC News and "20/20"'s original reporting, as well as new updates from the family.
