ABC News Studios' 'Impact X Nightline' Announces New Episode 'It Started with a Scream' Streaming June 12
ABC News Studios' "IMPACT x Nightline: IT STARTED WITH A SCREAM: What Happened to Holly Bobo?" begins streaming on Thursday, June 12, only on Hulu. The episode, led by ABC News senior national correspondent Eva Pilgrim, features new interviews with Nancy Grace - host of "Crime Stories With Nancy Grace," criminal defense lawyer Dana Mclendon, and ABC News legal contributor Dan Abrams; plus early ABC News interviews with members of the Bobo family, law enforcement and attorneys close to the case, and rare footage featured in the ABC Audio and "20/20" podcast "What Happened to Holly Bobo?"
"IMPACT x Nightline" reports on the kidnapping and murder of 20-year-old nursing student Holly Bobo, whose 2011 disappearance rocked the small-town community of Parsons, Tennessee. After three years of not knowing what happened to Holly, her remains were discovered in a wooded area nearly 20 miles from her hometown, leading authorities to three local men who were charged for the crime. But now, possible evidence and recanted testimony from a star witness could unravel the case, leading some to wonder if the wrong people are behind bars. ABC Audio and "20/20" deliver the true crime podcast "What Happened to Holly Bobo?," hosted by "GMA3" co-anchor and senior national correspondent Eva Pilgrim. The six-episode series examines Holly's case, which launched one of the largest and most expensive investigations in the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation's history and includes new audio of Clint Bobo's police interview from the day she went missing. Clint denied any involvement in the disappearance of his sister in the interview and has since been cleared by authorities in her kidnapping and murder.
