Disney's Commitment to Feeding America Helps Get Produce to Families in Need

From the proud farmers growing food for the world to the hundreds of volunteers manning food banks and processing centers, it takes a small army to make sure families in need have access to fresh produce. Thanks to Disney's commitment to Feeding America, farms can provide produce to Feeding America's network of over 200k food banks and 60k food pantries, including the Northern Illinois Food Bank, as well as supplying donations for refrigeration and equipment, all in an effort to end hunger in the U.S.

"My husband was in a car accident five and a half years ago. We were that family that was one paycheck away from being homeless, being in the food pantry line," says Evetta Mahlum, a food recipient and volunteer, "The pantry saved us in so many ways."
