Democracy After the 19th Amendment: 100 Years of Women Voting
Just this week, Kamala Harris made history by becoming the first Black women vice-presidential candidate. But 100 years ago, women had just gained the right to vote. On the 100th anniversary of the ratification of the 19th Amendment, we're looking back on how far we've come and how far we still need to go. From She Should Run, a non-profit that works to help women see what's possible for their leadership and elected officials, to female skydivers planning the biggest, women-only jump to celebrate the anniversary of the 19th Amendment, here are the women who continue to honor the legacy of the suffragettes and the fight to make America a more equal place.
