Actor Biography
Deniz Akdeniz most recently completed work in the widely beloved role of Max in the second season of the critically acclaimed and award-winning HBO Max series "The Flight Attendant." This fall, Deniz returns to ABC as a series regular in the role of Lev "Oz" Ozdil in the highly anticipated series "High Potential."
He also guest starred in the hit Warner Bros. for Fox series "The Cleaning Lady." Some of his other recent TV credits include CBS Comedy "Ghosts," ABC's "The Rookie: Feds," as well as a season long recur on ABC's "Once Upon a Time," playing the season lead of Disney's beloved character Aladdin.
On the film side, Deniz is known for his supporting lead role in "I, Frankenstein," directed by Stuart Beattie. He also played a supporting role in "The Water Diviner," which was directed by Russell Crowe and later acquired by The Weinstein Company. More recently, he could be seen in the Craig Gillespie-directed "Dumb Money" with a star-studded cast and the Nicole Holofocener Feature film "You Hurt My Feelings," which premiered at Sundance in 2022.
Prior to acting, Deniz trained and competed professionally in MMA. Deniz, an Australia native, is now based in Los Angeles.
